Commissions
We involve the client at every key stage of the commissioning process:
1. Establishing the client’s requirements
Our starting point is to establish, as clearly as possible, what is wanted. We can explain what can be done and will put forward ideas to ensure a design is developed to best effect. An estimate of cost will be provided at this stage.
2. Development of initial designs
Initial designs of the marquetry are drawn up and presented to the client. Any changes can then be identified and incorporated into final designs. A final cost for work is given at this stage.
3. Making the piece
Upon approval of the final design, our craftsmen undertake the work within a time-frame agreed with the client.
